Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using RandomKit ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

RandomKit provides web-based tools for generating random data, including passwords, numbers, strings, test data, colors, and more. All generation happens client-side in your browser.

Use of Service

Permitted Use

You may use RandomKit for:

  • Personal or commercial projects
  • Generating test data for development
  • Creating secure passwords
  • Any lawful purpose

Prohibited Use

You may NOT use RandomKit to:

  • Generate data for illegal activities
  • Spam or harass others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

RandomKit does not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Generated data meets your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RANDOMKIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Data Security

While RandomKit uses cryptographically secure random number generation (Web Crypto API), you are responsible for the security of your generated data once it leaves the application. For sensitive use cases (e.g., production passwords), we recommend:

  • Using a dedicated password manager
  • Not sharing generated passwords over insecure channels
  • Following your organization's security policies

Third-Party Services

RandomKit uses third-party services (Ahrefs Analytics, Google AdSense) that have their own terms and privacy policies. By using RandomKit, you also agree to their terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Intellectual Property

The RandomKit name, logo, design, and code are proprietary. Generated data belongs to you—we claim no rights to it.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
