Where Your Data Lives

All data generation happens entirely in your web browser. This includes:

  • Generated passwords
  • Random numbers
  • Test data
  • Color palettes
  • Any other generated content

Local Storage

RandomKit uses your browser's IndexedDB to store:

  • Your generation history (optional, can be cleared anytime)
  • Your tool preferences and settings
  • Your saved presets

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser data.

Third-Party Services

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This service:

  • Does NOT track individual users
  • Does NOT use cookies
  • Collects only aggregate, anonymous traffic data (page views, referrers)
  • Does NOT share data with third parties

Advertising

AI Features (Future)

If you choose to use AI-powered features in the future:

  • AI requests are processed through Vercel AI Gateway
  • Only the specific data you send (e.g., a prompt) is transmitted
  • No persistent storage of your data occurs
  • AI providers process requests according to their privacy policies

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

  • Clear History: Delete all saved history from your browser's IndexedDB at any time
  • Export Data: Download your generation history before clearing it
  • No Account Required: No registration, no tracking, no profiling
